On their engagement day, they embraced the joy of sweating it out under the sun.
On their City Hall day, they learned how to make quiet promises.
And today, two languages, two families, two different upbringings
find their way into the same rhythm, moving toward the same future.

A red veil gently covers the bride’s face.
An uncle lifts the garlands high in the air.
To truly see each other, you first have to be willing to be momentarily hidden.
In the end, they held hands and shaped the same heart.

Three times now, we have documented their story this year.
From planning to makeup, every detail arrived exactly where it needed to be.
A wedding built on real teamwork. On trust that ran both ways.

Some people walk through many seasons because of love.
The World Cup will end, and scores will be forgotten,
but those nights watching the game together,
those moments running side by side,
will slowly become part of everyday life.

她愛 Japanese Garden 的寧靜建築，也迷戀 Chinese drama 的含蓄與浪漫，於是有了旗袍、有了紙傘、有了在唐人街許願樹下寫下的那個「我們」。

從繁華的小店，到靜謐的庭園，再到海浪拍打礁石的邊緣，
他們不只是拍一輯照片，更像是在不同文化之間，慢慢找到屬於彼此的語言。

當城市的標誌輕輕入鏡，這段故事，也自然落在了舊金山的風裡。
海浪在他們腳下退去，他們用翻越礁石的勇氣留下了國家地理雜誌般壯闊的景色。

She loves the tranquil architecture of Japanese gardens, and is equally drawn to the subtlety and romance of Chinese dramas.
And so came the red outfits, the paper umbrella, and that moment beneath the wishing tree in Chinatown where they wrote down their shared “us.”

From bustling little shops to serene gardens, and then to the edge where waves crash against rugged rocks, this was more than just a photoshoot, it felt like they were slowly—dheere dheere—discovering a language that belongs only to them, somewhere between cultures.

As the city’s iconic landmarks quietly slipped into the frame,
their story naturally settled into the winds of San Francisco.
With the waves receding beneath their feet, they turned the courage of climbing across the rocks into a scene as grand as something out of National Geographic.

今天是母親節。想起拍這輯的時候，牙刷、 嬰兒鞋、搶鏡的柴犬，還有那句寫在肚子上的「Almost Cooked」。
不是精心佈置的道具，只是真實生活裡的一部分。
跟著她們，在自己家裡，把這段等待的時光，輕輕記下來。
一個眼神、一個笑微笑本身，已經很美。
祝所有媽媽，母親節快樂。

Today is Mother’s Day.
It brings me back to when we photographed this session—the toothbrush, the tiny baby shoes, the scene-stealing Shiba Inu, and the words written on her belly: “Almost Cooked.”

Nothing was overly styled or arranged, just pieces of real life.
I followed them, in their own home, gently documenting this season of waiting.

A glance, a smile, just the act of smiling is already beautiful.
Wishing all moms a Happy Mother’s Day.

Private ceremony 結束後，轉場到Palette Tea House。
點心一籠一籠上桌，笑聲也一陣一陣散開。
有人專心玩 bingo，有人忙著替新人中獎歡呼，
那些準備好的小禮物，好像只是藉口，讓大家更用力地參與這一天。

等到宴會散去，我們走進唐人街，
牆上的顏色、舊海報、街角的痕跡，
城市忽然變得很近，也很生活，這天的點滴成了他們故事最好的一頁。

A wedding could have been a solemn affair. They chose to make it something worth laughing about.

After the private ceremony, everyone moved to Palette Tea House. Dim sum baskets arrived one after another, and so did the laughter. Some were focused on their Bingo cards, others were busy cheering whenever the couple won. The little gifts they had prepared felt less like prizes and more like an excuse for everyone to show up fully for the day.

When the banquet wound down, we wandered into Chinatown. Painted walls, old posters, the worn edges of street corners. The city felt suddenly close, and very lived-in. Every bit of that day became the best chapter of their story.

典禮在橄欖樹下舉行，白色的飛燕草從兩旁蔓延，

加州的陽光好像有一種令人放慢節奏的能量，
讓人慢慢感受當下先於不斷地按下快門，
等父親鬆開手的那一秒；
等媽媽仰起頭、眼眶裡那一片光；
等她握著他的手走出去，臉上掛著那個連自己都沒察覺的笑。

到了夜裡，帳篷裡燈火暖黃，她把頭靠近他，笑得很輕。
那一刻，不像在拍婚禮了。 更像是，剛好路過了他們最真實的一個夜晚。

The ceremony took place beneath olive trees, with white delphiniums gently stretching along both sides.
There’s something about the California sunlight—it carries a kind of quiet energy that slows everything down.

It makes you feel the moment first, before reaching to press the shutter.
Waiting for the second her father lets go of her hand;
waiting for the way her mother tilts her head up, that glimmer gathering in her eyes;
waiting as she walks out holding his hand, wearing a smile she doesn’t even realize is there.

As night falls, the tent glows in warm amber light. She leans in close to him, smiling softly. In that moment, it no longer feels like photographing a wedding but more like passing gently through one of the most honest nights of their lives.

紐約市區無論怎樣的繁忙，但中央公園總有自己的節奏。

櫻花盛開的日子，整座城市好像慢了下來。粉紅色的花簇把天空填滿，落花鋪在泥路上；
風一吹，就分不清哪些是飄下來的，哪些是捨不得走的。

我喜歡看這裡的每一個身影，在花樹下、在石階旁、在巨大泡泡飄過來的瞬間，那種真實的微笑。
紐約的春天很短。 但有些畫面，總會在記憶裡。

No matter how loud the city gets, Central Park always moves at its own pace.

When the cherry blossoms bloom, something shifts — the whole city seems to breathe a little slower. Pink clusters fill up the sky, and fallen petals settle quietly onto the dirt path. When the wind comes through, you can‘t quite tell which ones are still drifting down, and which ones simply aren’t ready to leave.

I love watching people in this place — beneath the flowering trees, beside the stone steps, in the moment a giant bubble floats by and catches someone off guard. Those unguarded smiles are the ones I‘m always chasing.
Spring in New York is short. But some frames have a way of staying.

忽然想起去年的春天， 也是這樣的天氣，
我們在舊金山的花叢間穿行，
傘是透明的，雨打在上面， 聲音很輕，心卻很滿。
雨季又來了。 有些春天總值得回憶。

The rain has stayed for days now. And somehow last spring comes back to me, the same grey sky, the same soft sound of rain on a clear umbrella, as we wandered through the flowers of San Francisco.
The rain was quiet. Everything else felt full.
Another rainy season. Some springs are worth remembering again and again.

舊城巷弄，懸崖花園，地中海的黃昏；
這裡留住了許多故事， 那天，也留住了我們的。

The light was falling sideways on the stone walls when we stepped into the alley.
We had no need for words. Just drifted closer, the way two people do when they always knew they‘d end up here.
Old laneways, cliffside gardens, the Mediterranean at dusk — this place has held so many stories. That day, it held ours too.
