🎶 26 miles across the sea, Santa Catalina is a-waitin’ for me 🎶 Next week I’ll be heading back to my favorite vintage island escape, Catalina Island, for the spectacular Avalon Ball. I look forward to spending time with new friends and old and enjoying some sunshine and relaxation.

I still have some postcard portrait sessions available. The island provides a magnificent backdrop for these sessions and we have so much fun. If you are heading that way, I highly recommend booking a session now as they typically sell out. You can find the booking link in my bio.

What a fantastic adventure! I flew down to Los Angeles this weekend for Noir City Hollywood. Did I mention I was the official photographer for the poster?! ;) It was incredible to see it hanging at the iconic Egyptian Theatre.

Thank you to Eddie Muller , Nick Rossi .modernist and Elizabeth Bougerol for making this festival so special—it was wonderful to see you all again.

Listening to Nick Rossi and his band, along with a fabulous performance by Elizabeth Bougerol, a.k.a. Miss Noir City, under the gorgeous Art Deco ceiling was such a treat and I always love the informative introductions to the films by Eddie and Elizabeth.

This has been such a fun adventure—I’ll be sharing more of my Los Angeles experiences soon.

This season of gratitude has me reflecting on the remarkable people who surround my work. I’m deeply thankful for my clients and community—those who trust my vision, support my creativity, and allow me to be part of their most meaningful moments. Your encouragement, collaboration, and belief in what I do truly inspire me. I’m grateful for every connection, every project, and every opportunity to serve this community I love.

Next Sunday, Dec 7, I’ll be hosting an open studio holiday party at my Oakland studio (3506 Woodruff Ave) from 11 to 4 PM. Swing by if you can and enjoy some art, shopping and festivities. I’ll be selling small holiday gifts and will have racks of vintage set up for purchase as well.
