January 22–31, 2027—The world's greatest film noir festival returns to Oakland's Grand Lake Theater for its 24th spectacular edition. Eddie Muller, FNF founder and host of Turner Classic Movies: TCM's Noir Alley, invites you to experience "Blood on the Page," a selection of 28 films from classics (first weekend) to neo-noir (second weekend).

🎶 26 miles across the sea, Santa Catalina is a-waitin’ for me 🎶 Next week I’ll be heading back to my favorite vintage island escape, Catalina Island, for the spectacular Avalon Ball. I look forward to spending time with new friends and old and enjoying some sunshine and relaxation.

I still have some postcard portrait sessions available. The island provides a magnificent backdrop for these sessions and we have so much fun. If you are heading that way, I highly recommend booking a session now as they typically sell out. You can find the booking link in my bio.

What a fantastic adventure! I flew down to Los Angeles this weekend for Noir City Hollywood. Did I mention I was the official photographer for the poster?! ;) It was incredible to see it hanging at the iconic Egyptian Theatre.

Thank you to Eddie Muller , Nick Rossi .modernist and Elizabeth Bougerol for making this festival so special—it was wonderful to see you all again.

Listening to Nick Rossi and his band, along with a fabulous performance by Elizabeth Bougerol, a.k.a. Miss Noir City, under the gorgeous Art Deco ceiling was such a treat and I always love the informative introductions to the films by Eddie and Elizabeth.

This has been such a fun adventure—I’ll be sharing more of my Los Angeles experiences soon.
