Unbelievable Utah

There are places in Utah where it feels like you are on the Moon or have landed on Mars. And that is exactly what they are called Moonscape & Mars! Where astronauts train for landings and where reality far exceeds imagination.

Hidden canyons holding secrets of ancient civilization, night skies filled with wonders of the galaxy and a quiet stillness where you lose wifi only to feel most connected.

Join me on this beautiful adventure October 2026. Link in Bio.

This weekend rain/snow/fog will all create drama in the valley. One of the best times to visit Yosemite.

Happy Earth day from the Valley

Ethereal fog, endless flowers, and a color palette I couldn't have dreamt up if I tried. Yosemite you have my heart. My favorite is #4 whats yours?

No matter how much hate, predjudice and violence propagates, Mother Nature is here to always remind us why this planet is worth our total and unconditional love always.

From Barren to Blooming!

The 2026 superbloom in Death Valley is being hailed as the most spectacular display since
2016. After record-breaking rainfall, the desert floor has transformed into a vibrant carpet of
"Desert Gold" sunflowers, purple phacelia, sand verbena, buttercups and more!

All these images were shot mid March this year.

Drama of Death Valley

282 ft below sea level, where the scale is grand, silence profound, landscape pristine and beauty immeasurable.
I find myself going back again and again, staying for the silence and leaving awestruck. If you have never been to Death Valley, next week the desert will be carpeted with flowers, testimony to nature's resilience creating beauty in the barren.

Desert Drama

Death Valley... 282 feet below sea level where nature defies expectations. I go for the views, stay for the silence and leave completely awestruck. Looking forward to being back here very soon.

Spring
From the rugged peaks of the West to the tropical heart of the East, the "great awakening" is officially in full swing.
Am looking forward to chasing wildflowers and waterfalls in the coming weeks ahead. Sharing some recently processed images from Italy, Indonesia and USA.

Winter in Yosemite
These images were taken in the last week of January. We were lucky to witness some very special moments. Winter is by far the best season to be in Yosemite. The serenity, the solitude and the snow transforming the landscape into an unforgettable dream. Looking forward to being back here as soon as the park opens.

My favorite dozen from 2025
Feel truly fortunate for all the adventures I got to have and photograph last year. Sharing some of the iconic moments experienced.
1. Explored Zion National park during a winter storm.
2. Hiked the classic Landmannalaugar trail in the Highlands of Iceland and also explored the Western Fjords. Was a real treat to photograph the stunning Dynjandi falls.
3. Made multiple visits to my favorite place
" Yosemite" and this image of a mist filled valley was made during the winter workshop.
4. In a small ship that maneuvered around the northern seas and laid anchor 8 degrees in latitude away from the North Pole. Kayaking in Svalbard over the brush ice surrounded by icebergs and abundant wildlife the experience left me in complete awe of the pristine beauty of this nordic landscape. Saw 8 polar bears and this is one of them.
5. Did the multiday circumambulation hike around Mount Kailash in Tibet and also witnessed sunrise and sunset at Mount Everest .This image of light dancing across the mountains is a favorite memory.
6. By far one of the best shows of moonbows across lower yosemite falls happened in Spring of 2025. Have been chasing this shot for a few years now and each year hope to get an image better than the year before. The rainbows danced under the full moon for over an hour making the experience better than ever.
7. Went back to the Central Vietnam cave system for the second year and this time took workshop clients to the Hang Va cave. Photographing 300 ft below the surface of earth, navigating rough terrain in the dark and illuminating the spectacular subterranean landscape to create images is easily one of the best adventures of the year.
8. Flew my drone to get an aerial perspective and tried to create images that conveyed a true sense of a bird's eye view of the spectacular badlands of Utah. My favorite shot of Factory Butte to date.
9&12. The minimalism of Death Valley is hypnotic. This year's visit during and after a sandstorm created purely magical conditions.
10. Sailing across Halong Bay in Vietnam, an unforgettable experience.
11. Visited the Tiger Nest Monastery for the third time loving every step.

Africa is not featured in this collection only because I felt the experience of being in Masai Mara/Serengeti/Ngorongoro/Amboseli deserves its own dozen faves. The wildlife I photographed from the Arctic tundra to the Sub-Saharan desert, the birds of the Texas Bayou to the sea eagles of Norway left me humbled, grateful and truly in awe of our beautiful
planet. Hope to share these images soon.

Somewhere under the Rainbow!
(Created by Mother Nature not AI)

Each of these landscapes is spectacular to photograph, but having rainbows perfectly positioned over them is like winning the lottery!
