A glimpse of my favorite spot from this casual beach engagement session.

If your wedding day is going to be your first time getting professional photos done, I highly recommend an engagement session for a few reasons:

•Getting comfy with your photographer. I LOVE getting to know my couples! These sessions are so much fun, and really help build trust.

•Make the most of your hair & makeup trial. This is a great way to preview what your pro hair and makeup will look like when photographed, since it can be heavier than you are used to.

•”Day in the life” type photos. Whether you’re displaying them at your wedding or at home, it can be really special to have printed photos that show who you are most days (minus the sweatpants days)
