Tyler Werner Photography Contact for Inquiries I received my first camera from my Father when I was very young. Ever since, I have been glued to the view finder!

I currently take photos with three cameras, each of which offers unique advantages: iPhone 7 Plus, Nikon L820, and Nikon D5500. Nikon is a fantastic company that I have purchased from, and recommended for years. And, for those few moments when my Nikon isn't handy, my iPhone never fails at any photo opportunity. I live in Colorado, where I recently graduated from Colorado State University with a B

A in Sociology. I have always had a passion for photography, and plan to spend more time advancing my photography. Like anybody else, I enjoy traveling. And, there's no better way to remember life's memories than with a picture that brings you right back to any specific moment, even years later. Being a photographer who is dedicated to furthering his experience, I am eager to get feedback on my work. With that in mind, feel free to contact me with any questions, advice, inquiries, comments, suggestions, etc. They say each picture is worth a thousand words...I would love to hear your "words" for my work. Thanks for visiting my page, and please check back soon, as I frequently update this site with more of my work. Much Respect,
Tyler Werner

The SS Jeremiah O'Brien (seen in the background) is one of two remaining fully functional liberty ships...out of 2,710 built and launched during World War 2!

Just after sunrise, my Dad and I were drinking coffee on our hotel's balcony as we watched the whales frequently emerge. As the light got brighter, we noticed that just off of the beach were dozens of sea lions! Most of them didn't care about us at all, but this guy....he was curious! We watched them play around in the water and soaking up the rising sun for upwards of an hour. This guy would occasionally yawn and clean his whiskers, but he was locked on to us! 🙂 Pretty neat.

Here's a daytime view of the Black Sands Beach in Shelter Cove. This picture has some hidden surprises! On the back, left-side of the rocks there are dozens of Sea Lions enjoying the warm sun; they kind of look like white blobs! And, in the middle of this picture, near the top you'll see a white "circle" in the ocean. This is actually the mist of a surfacing whale blowing! Whales were surfacing all over this area, some being as close as a couple hundred yards from the beach! What an experience....

This playful bear was floating on his back, enjoying his toy! He and his brother were brought to the San Diego Zoo from Yellowstone National Park. The brother bears were caught digging through campground trashcans multiple times, presenting a hazard to the guests. San Diego Zoo relocated them to avoid the bears being put down.

Black Sands Beach on the coast of Shelter Cove was amazing! This was the first time I had been to a "black sand" beach. Made up of small, black pebbles, you won't find any dirt or sand on these beaches!

Cheetah Cubs: You know you'd adopt one... :)

At the San Diego Zoo, they pair the Cheetahs with dogs! The dogs keep the cheetahs calm and relaxed, while the cheetahs provide companionship for the dog.

I'm so blessed to have been able to explore the entire coast of California with my Dad this Summer. From Pandas in San Diego, to the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach, to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, to the majestic Humboldt Redwoods State Park, to the whale-filled Shelter Cove....my heart is full of everlasting memories. I'lll be sharing some of my favorite captures of this 2,000+ mile road-trip in the next few weeks. I hope you enjoy! Feel free to share! :)

Anyone who knows me knows that Pandas are my absolute favorite animal! They spend their days eating and sleeping...just like me! ;) My Dad and I were able to get an early access guided tour of the Panda exhibit at the San Diego Zoo before it opened. This was my favorite part of our trip, if I had to narrow it down to one thing. I have always wanted to see a Panda! :)
