Yesterday, I finally had the chance to visit the aquarium in Lisbon. I've been holding off on trips to the city, waiting for the tourist season to wind down. Since May marks the beginning of the busy season here, the crowds get a bit overwhelming for my taste, so I prefer to wait until fall and winter to explore.

The aquarium was absolutely incredible—honestly, I think it surpasses the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California! I've visited many aquariums, but this one had so many unique and captivating features. I opted for a backstage pass, which allowed me to see the main tank from above, watch the fish being fed, and learn about the impressive filtration system. I'll share more details about that soon, but for now, enjoy these photos!

Leaving the US was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made, but it was the right one. Since moving to Portugal, I feel a weight of stress and worry has been lifted off my shoulders. I feel lighter, freer, and more at peace than ever before.

The first photo is me in California, burdened by stress and uncertainty. It was easy to hide behind my smile but inside I was filled with fear and stress.

The second photo is me conquering my fear of heights and standing on the ledge of a beautiful monastery in Portugal. This transformation represents not just a change in location, but a profound change within myself.

Thank you, Portugal, for giving me a new lease on life. ❤️

In our first 24 hours after departing the US, we embarked on a journey from LAX to Paris, then continued to Lisbon. Upon landing, my husband and I were joined by our friend Carlos Lobo, who kindly assisted us in transporting our luggage to our new home. While I rented a car, we made our way to our beautiful house. That evening, we had the pleasure of meeting our landlords, Elsa Coelhoand Jose. They graciously gave us a tour of Rio Maior so we could get our cell, internet and TV set up and treated us to a delightful dinner. Satisfied and tired, we returned home and retired for the night.

The following morning, I awoke and enjoyed a refreshing swim in our pool before preparing for the day. Erik and I spent some time shopping for our new home, and then we returned to our lovely abode. We prepared dinner and savored the breathtaking sunset.

Today I got my bracelets. Rumi Sumaq means “beautiful Stones” in Quechua, the indigenous language in Peru.

June is Pride Month-

I would love to say Happy Pride Month but currently is very difficult to be happy given the way the US is currently treating people apart of the LGBTQ+ community. Every month is Pride month for me but the past few years its even more important to stand with my community.

Take this month to remember that human deserve their right to live as they choose, to Just be, to love, to have children and to make choices for themselves always.

However, we are still a business this means we are required to still act as so. We have contracts in place to protect you, and to protect us. We send various questionnaires to make sure you are fully prepared and in just about every email you will always find our information guide. This guide is created to help prepare you for your full session from the start to the viewing session. Making sure you are fully prepared and feel secure in our ability to operate as an incorporation. ⁠⁠⁠⁠
