Some moments deserve to be remembered forever, and this was one of them.

For their rehearsal dinner at Bourbon Steak in San Francisco, Erika surprised her mom in the most meaningful way. She had her mom’s wedding dress custom tailored to fit her and wore it for the evening. A surprise her mom had no idea was coming. To making the setting feel even more personal, they chose this restauran in the Westin St. Francis because the columns were hand painted by her Grandfather 🕊️

Watching that moment unfold, seeing the emotions, the memories flashback was something I’ll never forget. It’s reminders like these that make me so grateful to document not just the big events, but the deeply personal moments in between.

These are the memories that become family heirlooms.

Taking a look back at this Sea Ranch elopement I did a few years ago and remembering it like it was just yesterday! Michelle and Justin had a small intimate elopement with the dramatic Northern California coastline in the background surrounded by immediate family before the three of us set out for some sunset photos.

Although I rarely post old photos, this one lives in my head rent free and I’ll share it until the end of time. 🤗
