Made it to the final days of this show here Del Mar. I remember almost 20 years ago going to a small gallery featuring Banksy’s work in NYC. I believe it was one of his first shows bc he never wanted to be in galleries or museums… his work is thought provoking and to see it all together in one space was really special.

Loved today’s photo walk hosted by ‘s crew and lead

Got to demo the FujiFilm H-X2 and all its fun filters and features. Leaning into a whole new system felt natural and I could focus of on creative framing. The group was fun a supportive super grateful to be a part of it all.

Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego has announced the closure of its gender-affirming care services for transgender and gender-diverse youth. For many families, this care was never political—it was about their child’s safety, mental health, and ability to grow up feeling supported and understood. The loss of these services means disrupted care, long travel for treatment, and deep uncertainty for families already carrying heavy emotional weight. These are real kids and real parents, now left without trusted medical support in their own community.

How can you help?
-Listen to and amplify the voices of trans youth and their families
-Support local and national organizations providing affirming care and resources
-Speak up to community leaders about the importance of accessible, evidence-based healthcare for all kids
-Lead with compassion—even if this isn’t part of your lived experience

If you build it they will come. What an incredible experience to build an art piece at Burning Man! was inspired by the Baobab Trees of Madagascar. With Massive, water storing trunks Baobab trees are a symbol of resilience. We even created a little hidden nook inside, not obvious to many, but if you found it, it was a special place to be. Gratitude to the leadership of .hass.la and the crew I got to meet and work with along this journey. The tree withstood the crazy windstorms and weather and proved to be playa-proof structure. What’s cool is that it can be transformed into an even larger tree, or even into something completely different for future projects. It was really satisfying to hear the stories of participants interacting with it throughout the week. If you checked it out, please comment below!
