7 Tips to Make Your Elopement Even More Meaningful 🤍
An elopement is so much more than a photoshoot. It’s your wedding day—just without the stress, big crowds, or pressure. Here are a few simple tips to help you enjoy every moment even more.
1. Don’t plan every minute
Leave a little extra time between locations or after your ceremony. Some of the best moments happen when you simply slow down, hug each other, and take it all in.
2. Write each other a letter
Even a few heartfelt sentences can become one of the most emotional memories of your day. Read them during your ceremony or privately before you see each other.
3. Bring comfortable shoes
If we’ll be walking through parks, beaches, or trails, you’ll be thankful you packed a comfortable pair. You can always switch back into your wedding shoes for photos.
4. Don’t worry about the weather
Wind, clouds, or even a little fog often create the most beautiful and cinematic images. Trust the process.
5. Bring something meaningful
A bottle of champagne, handwritten vows, a family heirloom, your favorite flowers, or even your dog—personal details make your elopement uniquely yours.
6. Forget about the camera
Talk to each other, laugh, hold hands, and be present. The most beautiful photos happen when you’re focused on each other, not on posing.
7. Enjoy the moment
Don’t let small things distract you. There is no such thing as a perfect wedding day—but there is such a thing as a day filled with genuine emotions you’ll treasure forever.
