Very excited to be part of the Lens to Brush exhibit at Adelman Fine Art. Being a photographer in an art gallery has inspired me to pick up the brush and add a bit of mixed media to my photography. On this canvas print I added some acrylic texture and gold leaf. Golden View San Diego Size 36”x24” now available at Adelman Fine Art.

Dawn in Tuscany

Got Vespa
These iconic little scooters can be seen all over Italy and they make a great subject for photographing! For those of you that are interested, I will be sharing my experience of European Travels in a slideshow presentation this Thursday at 8pm. It will be located at the Photographic Society of Orange County in Fountain Valley. I will explain how I was inspired to capture images like these to become fine art for the walls of art collectors homes. I will provide some Post production tips that I use to create “Fine Art Photographs”. Of course I will also be raffling off 5 of my signature “Cam-Pad”s to those that attend!

Collage Then and Now
When I first started traveling I liked to take photos like every tourist did but I ended up using too many rolls of film capturing every thing I saw. So I decided instead of taking several photos of the different subjects I would use up a whole roll of film to capture one unique image. My Photo Album would have less pages but I would have the one image to remind me of all the things I experienced during that time. Even though today film is no longer an issue I still like to keep my shots limited. This evening I will be sharing my experience in Travel and Fine Art Photography at the Fallbrook Camera Club. I will be showing a few of my old collages and how I created the new digital version in a few easy steps in Post Production.
