Even though I don’t love shooting at Balboa Park (crowds, mess, parking issues photographers IYKYK) it’s hard to deny how special and beautiful that place really is.
Plus it’s a perfect background if you prefer a little more glam to your photos!

Dublin….you were so good to us. I don’t think I can even begin to describe how amazed, grateful & humbled I am through this experience. It was truly the most magical place….also can we believe this is their version of a city hall?!?

Finally sharing some of the beautiful families I got to capture this season.
One of the biggest pieces of advice I have as a mom of two and a photographer is that sometimes your kids aren’t sitting there smiling for a camera and are acting unexpectedly and making you sweat but I promise they will warm up to me. I also promise we will get some amazing images even if those images are more play based, action based etc. my biggest takeaway is to let go of any expectation you may have of family photos and let them unfold naturally- they will be so worth it!
