WOW!
What can I say, 2025, you were good to me.

I couldn’t be more thankful for all of the incredible blessings that came from the people around me. The greatest gift of all was, of course, the birth of our beautiful daughter, Camellia. I mean… what could compare to that kind of joy? Seeing her smile is truly the most wonderful thing in the entire world.

Thank you to all the incredible clients and friends who continue to support my career. Your trust and encouragement never go unnoticed, and I’m endlessly grateful for you.

Also, if you’ve worked on a shoot with me or simply took the time to grab a coffee; “THANK YOU”. I am so thankful to have had you there and just absolutely want the best for you! You know who you are 😘

To 2026… I’m so excited to see what you bring. To watching my daughter grow, seeing where my career leads, experiencing new joys with Andrew and my family, and simply living life fully with the people I love. I’m stepping into the new year with positive manifestations, but also with a reminder to slow down and enjoy the little things. Big goals are great but I know they’ll unfold in time. I’ve always believed that things happens when you’re ready for them.

So to everyone I wish you’ll have more laughter, more love, and a whole lot of joy in the new year.

My family has always believed that a given name is a gift—one with real power. It’s the very first thing you offer your child, and Andrew and I knew we wanted something meaningful.

It took us a while, but eventually we fell in love with the name Camellia. Growing up, my parents had a huge pink-and-white camellia tree right outside their bedroom window. I used to sit on their bed looking out that big window, watching the birds build their nests in the spring and the flowers bloom. Now my niece Ella sits in that very spot, watching the birds just like I did. Something I hope her and Camellia get to do together as they grow.

It also happens to be the first plant Andrew ever bought me for our garden. I didn’t think much of it back then, but when we started looking for names, Camellia just felt right—like it had been waiting for us. The flower itself represents enduring love, faithfulness, resilience, and beauty.

And of course… what kind of photographer would I be if I didn’t have a photoshoot for my own daughter?

Did someone say mom-tographer? I guess I officially fit the stereotype now—and honestly, I’m okay with it. 😂

You guys, she’s here! Our beautiful, sweet, perfect baby girl has arrived.

Meet Camellia Ara Cho
Born at 6:25am on October 25th, 2025
7.8lbs and 20 inches long

I’m crying, just overwhelmed with joy, writing this as I sit in the hospital room watching her sleep peacefully. There’s no way I could have imagined how lovely she could be.

I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and encouraging support system; my husband and mom carried me through as I went through a very intense labor. Having them there meant the world to me.
The labor and delivery team truly went above and beyond and helped me literally push this sweet baby into the world. The recovery ward has taken such good care of me and our little family. Providing such guidance and kindness as Andrew and I literally figure out how to become parents overnight.

As long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be a mom—to create a family and a place where my future children feel safe and loved. More than anything, I dreamed of building something beautiful with the person I love most in this world.

Now I finally get to live that dream.

From the day I met Andrew, I knew he was the one I wanted to build that life with. He’s always been the kind of person who makes my dreams come true, and from the moment we found out we were pregnant, it was no different. He’s been endlessly supportive—by my side with gentle hands, sweet words for the baby and me, and a warmth that fills my soul. I cannot wait for Baby Cho to meet their incredible dad.

I’m so thankful for my family, who can hardly wait to meet this little one. My sweet sister showers me with love and kindness only a sister could give, and she and her husband have helped with everything before the baby arrives. My niece and nephew already make me laugh imagining how much joy and silliness they’ll bring into Baby Cho’s world. I can already picture the beach days, the laughter, and the warm summer nights they’ll share together.

My parents have been wonderful, too. I cherish my dad’s calls asking how I’m feeling, if I need anything, and reminding me how loved we are. And my mom—There’s no ask too big. I adore how she talks to Baby Cho, whispering sweet words about how special and loved they already are. Words of kindness and affection, I suppose, have always been our family’s love language.

To my friends—thank you for your excitement and constant support. Knowing this baby is already surrounded by so much love fills my heart completely.

This truly feels like the beginning of everything I’ve ever hoped for.

I’m so excited to meet you any day now Baby Cho. 💛
