I feel grateful to share with a road with this beautiful creature. Wish every car can slow down to enjoy this moment, instead of speeding and endangering the wildlife that shares the space with us.

Happy to See you again, Diana !
I was very exciting to see Diana, the female puma again yesterday, in Torres del Paine Del Paine. I shot her pictures last year with her two kittens and her hunting guanaco. This time, she is alone, but she appeared made a kill a couple days ago and is attempting to hide her prey. I can recognize her because her right ear has a cute.

The Pin-tailed Whydah is an African songbird, not a native to California. But somehow they immigrated to USA, legally or illegally. They well establish non-native population in Southern California. Some interesting facts of the bird : These birds are obligate brood parasites, meaning they lay eggs in the nests of other species—specifically the non-native Scaly-breasted Munia in California—leaving foster parents to raise their young. During mating season, male Whydahs sport a striking, pennant-like tail that can grow up to three times their body length. The male birds frequently dance in the air to lure female to mate.
