ELLIE G Photography I'm Elizabeth Garcia, a 24yr old photographer from Santa Maria CA. I now live in San Diego. I love to do various photo shoots!

Photography is my passion because it isn't about taking the perfect picture, it's about capturing the beauty that you see through your eyes. It may be architecture, animals, sceneries, or even small things like flowers, but the pictures you take define who you are. If you find that a leaf on the ground is worth taking a picture of, then you're simply unique because others might just step on it and not see it. Perspective and patience are key to photography.

This is a new project that I am working on that will discuss important topics regarding animals and the environment. This image is titled Wrongful Detainment, which is about putting animals in cages for amusement or other reasons that only lead to human satisfaction rather than for the animals protection or other reasons that are helping the animals.

Feeling like you have to prove yourself worthy is exhausting! Sometimes it may even make you wish that people wouldn't notice you. In reality, no one can ever understand who you really are. Like having blurry vision, you can only make out shapes here and there, which is how people see each other. Now, there's a way to interpret this differently. You should think of how everyone is unique, that we have many differences, but we also have a huge similarity that allows us to understand that we don't have to be this stereotypical version that people may think we need to be. The similarity that we all share is having trials that shape us. Everyone has gone through hard times and that is how our path is crafted. None of us can control this aspect of life, it is in God's hands. With that being said there's no reason we should strive to fit the expectations society throws at us.
Just wanted to share some positive thoughts through this difficult time. This has been on my mind because I struggle with this just like anyone else.
