These photos are a little different for me. š¤
My dear friend followed me around during a recent shoot and quietly documented the day as it unfolded. No posing. No directing. No ālook over here.ā Just me doing what I love.
The funny thing is that Iām much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it.
When Fernando sent me the raw files, completely unedited, I did what many of us do. I zoomed in. I noticed every expression line, every sign of time passing. I havenāt done Botox in a long time, rarely wear much makeup, and Iāve never been a fan of filters.
My first reaction was to be hard on myself.
But after sitting with these images for a few hours, I started seeing something different.
I saw a woman fully immersed in her work. Focused. Creating. Moving with purpose. Laughing. Problem solving. Living.
The lines tell stories. The tired eyes come from building a life I care deeply about. The face looking back at me is simply mine.
No filters. No edits. No pretending.
Just the raw version of me.
Thank you, Fernando, for documenting this chapter and for helping me see myself through a kinder lens.
What you see is what you get. ā„ļøšš¾āØ
