J.T. MacMillan Photography J.T. MacMillan Photography For 28 years I've embraced photography as my passion and livelihood.

As a photojournalist, I’ve had the privilege of documenting the human experience for metro daily newspapers, capturing the moments that reveal who we are. As a marketing photographer, I work closely with clients to illustrate what makes their business or company unique, through portraiture, product and work-site photography.

Monday was a busy day at Torrey Pines Gliderport. Apparently, now they provide "emotional support" dogs for those nervous first-timers. 😆

A brisk wind 💨 helped us on our way to anchor at Mariner’s Basin in Mission Bay for our traditional 4th of July weekend escape. There are a few things more relaxing for us than chillin’ on our anchored boat

Every fall, collision, and mishap is perfectly choreographed by the amazing cast and crew, delivering one of the funniest and most entertaining productions I can remember. The show runs through June 7.

This time of year the little beasts are consuming up to a quart of sugar water in just two days.
Since the most active time for photography is also the poorest light just before dark, I've used lights and in some cases a black backdrop to capture some of their wild shenanigans before things calm down in a few weeks.
Between the watching the Olympics and recent rainy weather it's been a great time to be a home body and enjoy what's right outside our window.
