Today, in just about an hour, all the late nights, caffeine filled mornings, summer classes, crazy hard work, determination, and sacrifices (RIP social life) led to this moment.

Watching you grow into the intelligent, kind, driven young woman you are has been one of life’s greatest privileges! This diploma is more than a piece of paper; it’s proof of your resilience, your dedication, and the incredible future waiting for you! You have worked your ass off to get to where you are, and as you walk across the stage and receive your diploma, I hope you feel as proud of yourself as we are of you!

Mother’s Day is coming… and no, she doesn’t want another candle 😂 (or maybe she does but still)

She wants to be in the photos for once; the real ones. The laughs, the quiet moments, the way she’s always been your safe place.

And just because you’re not a kid anymore… doesn’t mean you don’t need photos with your mama 😉

So consider this your gentle (but slightly aggressive) reminder:
book the photoshoot, show up, and give her something that actually lasts.

Because one day, these are the photos you’ll be so, so grateful you took 🤍

You blink… and suddenly they’re crawling.

This stage, right here, the wobbly sitting, the squishy legs, the tiny hands exploring everything…
it lasts for what feels like five minutes.

And somehow it’s the one almost no one thinks to document.

No first birthday yet.
No running around.
Just them… exactly as they are. Before they realize they can walk (or run) away

I used to offer these quiet little sitter sessions
and then stopped for a while;
but going back through these makes me realize
how many people probably wish they hadn’t missed it.

Because once it’s gone…
there’s no recreating it.
