Shyla Marie founded Shyla Marie Photography in 2008 with the goal of turning her passion for photography and beauty into a thriving business. Along with running the studio and doing photoshoots, Shyla is is a featured speaker and trainer, passionate about inspiring and guiding other women in pursuing their dreams of launching their own photography businesses. Ahh, my favorite part of photographing awesome people. Revealing their photos to them. I love seeing the faces of clients when they see all their session shots printed out
and displayed. With the rebrand sessions I set up a reveal day with you after your session. It’s like a celebration of you. Choose and purchase the portraits you want and take them home that day. Taking the time to get to know my clients dreams in person is how my rebrand sessions are different from the rest.

There’s a lot to love about what I do. Creating, working with cool people, and exciting traveling are a few easy and obvious ones. But today I’m feeling gratitude. I just received a heartfelt email from an actor whos headshots I did last month. In the email they mentioned that they had never been captured in the way he was in his session. That with his new headshots he felt he was showing his true self to directors. I’m so overwhelmed. There is so much joy in what I do. Feeling so thankful to every client that I’ve worked with.
