Before coming to Dover I had never heard of a chough. Walking around the Roman lighthouse we noticed some Eurasian jackdaws and then realized there was a different bird. Looking it up has a reintroduction program and Dover Castle has an upcoming event all about the chough.

Went on a nice little 8 mile walk along the Seven Sisters. Really beautiful place. Pretty exhausted so good night 😴

Royal Pavilion and Garden was (obviously) inspired by the Taj Mahal. Lovely gardens all around with lots of people picnicking.

Picked up a 3D printed panoramic film that uses a large format lens. No viewfinder. Only got 3 images from this roll since it’s 6x17 but it was a cool experiment. Just had to get the camera level and snap the shot. Then hope for the best!

The reason for the large format lens is because the body has no shutter. It only has the wheels to roll the film. Super low tech. Large format lenses have their own shutter so you set the shutter speed on the lens. There’s no focus ring so you’re basically shooting at ♾️ 100% of the time.

I’ll post the other two but honestly I think it kinda sucks to post panos on Instagram. Oh well.

3 weeks of traveling around Europe. I will miss so much and not miss so much. Seems that when you travel you learn so much about other people’s worlds you don’t experience where you’re from and so much about yourself. Grateful for my best friend and travel buddy . She’s dreamed of going to Paris since high school and we finally did it. Au revoir Paris! Tot ziens Amsterdam! Farvel Copenhagen! London, I have a feeling I’ll be back so maybe I’ll see you soon 😉
