Us! My little family in our teeny house in San Diego a couple of weeks before we moved to Washington. Photos that are messy—our yard is dirt (😂), mud on the house, I forgot to take my phone out of my back pocket—but that perfectly capture what days looked like in a sweet and special season. The little years!! And it’s all I want!

We spend our days slowly. Making coffee together, reading books on the couch, playing basketball in the backyard. Even now, in Washington where the weather is wintry, we spend as much time together and outside as possible.

And I work in the cracks between; during naps, after bedtime, when I can during the day. It’s chaotic and messy and so beautiful and I wouldn’t have it any other way. What a beautiful life 💛
