New Pride flag, who 'dis?

Thanks to the fine folks at Pride Flag SD for our custom Pride flag! We really like the original Gilbert Baker design, but wanted to include the Progress design too. They made it happen!

Oh wow. Extremely honored to share that my photo "Come Into My Lilacs..." won 2nd place in the Animals – Insects, Reptiles, Amphibians, and Aquarium Sea Life category at the SD Fair Photo Show Exhibition!!!

In addition, my photo "Desert Fractal" won an Honorable Mention in the All Other Plants and Trees category. Many thanks to Paulette Donnellon and Kathy King for their mentorship -- I captured that photo at Paulette's desert photo retreat in January, thanks to their encouragement to step out of my comfort zone.

Beyond that, it was a real pleasure to see the over 1,300 photos on exhibit. Many thanks to the show coordinators for finding space for a record number of photos, and for the opportunity to see everyone's work!

I'm so excited to share that 3 of my photos are hanging in the SD Fair Photo Show Coordinators Exhibition starting Wed. June 10th! Two of them are here; I'm not sharing the 3rd online at the request of the photo's subject (that's right, I actually got a PeoplePhoto in the show this year!) If you want to see it, you'll have to go in-person! You can find more info on tickets at the San Diego County Fair account or the link in the first comment.
