Some high schools are starting to charge photographers for sideline access. Love it or hate it, the sidelines are becoming more congested. This has been a safety issue for a while.

Thankfully, the ball boys were ok, but this is pretty common these days. I've had a few photographer friends taken out for weeks due to a sideline collision. I've been involved in a few, but nothing like this.

As a photographer, I'm glad to see that schools are taking steps to tighten sideline access. It's too early to tell if this will be successful. Just be careful, have your head on a swivel, protect your body and your gear!!
This is also why I have all my gear insured, as well as liability insurance.

Senior Media Day isn't just standing in front of a camera — it's a full production.

But all the lights and smoke don't mean anything until the athletes show up and bring it. Loved the energy brought — that's what actually makes these shots hit.

This is what it looks like when senior day gets treated like a real shoot.

Three weeks out from kickoff — excited to share this uniform reveal for Seton Catholic's Sentinels football program.

Partnering with a school on something like this means a lot. These images represent the program, the coaches, and the athletes who've put in the work all summer, and I don't take that lightly.

For the athletes, this is when the season starts to feel real. For parents, it's a shot you'll actually want to print and keep — not just another team photo.
