Last Friday I had the honor to speak for an auditorium at City College filled with high school students from the San Diego school district. Not my usual crowd, but all these students were passionate about photography and what a great audience they were! I talk about pet photography (obviously!) and how it definitely is a real job, gave some tips on how to get started and told some anecdotes about what it takes to get the images that really show the petās personality.
Afterwards we had a short demo with a small group of students where sweet Betty Lou showed us how to be a perfect model!
Honestly I was a little nervous because itās been a minute since I did any public speaking, but it was so much fun and hopefully some more of these opportunities will find their way to meāŗļø
