Family photography in the last couple of years has gone from being my least favorite to my absolute most favorite type of session. My main reason being that I have shifted focus from posed and forced smiles to children centered prompts that bring out the real, messy, love filled chaos of each family. It’s so much more fun, more natural and it feels a lot more true to myself and my clients.

Also, since becoming a mom, I realize that these moments go by so quickly with small children and I NEED to photograph them as often as possible so that I can keep them forever and ever! And I want to help all of the families I work with do that too ❤️
