ps from SoCal’s most beautiful coastlines. My obsession of the landscape has driven me to create print collections; from sought after surf spots to iconic beach town scenery. But what truly makes my heart explode is capturing the elusive emotions in lifestyle photography. As a mom, I constantly have a fear of forgetting a moment or memory as life seems to fly by. And not too often do I find myself in front of the camera with my loved ones. Because of this, I believe I have become even more passionate about capturing every perfect and imperfect moment, every detail… the emotions we can feel, but don’t always get to see. Finding the right photographer that has captured those moments for my family has been priceless to me. It’s been too long since I have done an introduction, if you will.

Hey y’all! Amie here. 🤍

I’d have to begin by saying that I still can’t believe that I am a wife, homeschooling Mama of 3 and professional photographer!! This life of mine (far from perfect) is a life I hardly ever even dreamed of because honestly I didn’t think it was ever possible for me.

So here I am and do not take one minute for granted. I am beyond blessed by my incredible, hardworking, dedicated husband that ultimately affords this life for us.

I wasn’t sure if I’d ever have one Little, let alone 3! And to be able to nurture every step of their childhood is such a blessing.

I’ve always loved having a camera in my hand and imagined everything I looked at as if it could be a post card on the racks at a souvenir shop. I loved taking pictures and creating photo albums when I was younger. Life got busy and I didn’t snap as much until I had kids. And then I found myself staring through the lens again and feeling like I wanted to capture every breath my Littles took, every chance I could because well, everything they did was just too dang cute and I didn’t want to forget it!

I’ll fast forward through the beginning of ACJ Photo and begin again where we are now.

The beauty of this business is being able to design its flow around my priorities which is always my family. With the ebbs and flows that life gives us I have been given an appreciation deeper than I could ever imagine for the clients that have continued to reach out and ask me to be a part of their journey.

I consider myself reserved. But when I get emotional I can be long winded. Haha.

I just wanted take any opportunity to show face and if you’re still reading just share that YOU are why I’m here. I’m not a big fan of social media and tend to be more reserved than most I would think. Personal privacy is huge for me. But I know that that’s a hard place to be in the social media marketing world.
