Alejandra Jimenez of Mexico City defeats Franchon Crews and becomes the new WBC and WBO Super middleweight champion at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on January 11, 2020. All week these two fighters were on edge with each other and there was plenty of drama leading up to the fight. The fight went the full ten rounds and after it was an emotional scene as Jimenez was surrounded by her corner crew, "This win is for them (her family), my team, and my country, particularly my Cancun that I love so much," said Jimenez.

"I've accomplished one of my biggest dreams."

Took a break from sports yesterday to catch magic hour with Bosco. Bosco and I recently rediscovered Woodlawn Lake, and it’s been a nice place to decompress.

My name is Bosco. I was picked up by some not so very nice people out of East Valley, back in 2010. They took me to a place in West LA with some people that were trying to take care of me. I made some friends here and there, but I wanted to leave so bad. Then one day I met Miguel and Clarissa, and they invited me to live with them. Ever since that day, my life has been a journey, from the streets, out of East Valley, to Santa Monica, and then on to Texas, this is the fuel that drives me.
Soon, as part of a collaboration with Miguel, I’ll be releasing short stories from my travels entitled: Out of East Valley, A Chihuahua's Story. Stay tuned, we're coming.
