If you had told me a year ago that my podcast idea was going to win first place at the Marketing Excellence Awards I wouldn't have believed you.

Last night I was honored to accept the first place award in our category for The Hope Connection, Haven's first podcast.

I created The Hope Connection podcast at Haven for Hope to help foster understanding and humanize the complex issue of homelessness in our community.
Its a safe space for those experiencing homelessness to share their journey and shed light on what homelessness actually looks like.

What makes this series unique is that it is 100% impromptu.
I set up a table outside on campus, 2 cameras, and a pair of mics and invite clients to sit down with me.

No script. No agenda. Just pure authentic and vulnerable conversation.

If you haven't taken a moment to listen to The Hope Connection, I would encourage you to take a deep dive into all 3 seasons on YouTube or Spotify.

Episodes are 10 minutes or less but contain a wealth of human experience.

I am excited to announce that I have been officially voted on to the board of directors of AMA San Antonio as their new VP of Communications!

Being a member of the American Marketing Association of San Antonio has been an amazing experience and I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to this amazing community of marketing professionals.

It's going to be an incredible year of personal and professional growth!

2025 - thank you.
It was the year I fell in love all over again, with myself and with this beautiful thing called life.
It was a year of healing. A year of goals. And a year of self awareness.
It was a year of incredible friendship and family, truck repairs, and plenty of gym selfies. It was everything I needed and more and I could not have asked for a better year.
2025 was incredible but 2026 is MINE.

Cheers to you. Cheers to me. And cheers to the two girls who totally get me. I could not have lived this year without you!
