Even the Blue Moon showed up after the Spurs Win.

The Tower of the Americas glowed alien green as the orange Blue Moon rose behind it, creating a surreal eclipse-like alignment over downtown.

I didn’t think last night’s viral moonrise shot could be topped… then tonight happened.

Tonight’s capture is one of the most surreal downtown San Antonio cityscape shots I’ve ever filmed. A vibrant Blue Moon rose over the city as the Tower of the Americas eclipsed it perfectly, glowing alien green in honor of Wemby and the Spurs’ Western Conference Finals win.

I captured video of the entire scene and will be dropping it soon. Stay tuned.
