The San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum exists “to collect, preserve, and share the cultural heritage of African Americans in San Antonio and the Southwest region.” That mission is bigger than a building. It is bigger than an event. It is about legacy.

Being trusted to capture moments for SAAACAM means I am not just taking photos or rolling video. I am helping preserve stories that deserve to live far beyond a single day. Stories of resilience. Innovation. Community. Excellence.

There is something powerful about documenting history as it unfolds. One day these images and films will not just be content. They will be archives. They will be proof. They will be memory.

Grateful to play a small role in preserving something this meaningful.
