The Willow Fire started burning just two hours before our session with Gaby and Dakota, and none of us knew until we arrived at the stunning location they had chosen. 😥

As heartbreaking as it was to see our home state on fire, and with smoke already drifting our way, this incredible couple decided we might as well make the most of it while we were there and all dressed up. ❤️

I’m so incredibly glad they did.

Gaby and Dakota have the kind of love that feels carefree, adventurous, and deeply nostalgic. In a world where we’re constantly chasing perfection, it was refreshing to watch these two embrace the chaos, laugh through the FREEZING wind chill (okay… it was like 55°, but it felt freezing 🤣), ignore the messy hair, and simply enjoy being together.

When you show up to your photo session ready to let go of trying to look perfect and instead choose to be fully present with each other, that’s when the magic happens. That’s what creates images that feel organic, authentic, and timeless❤️
