I love you all...but no filters please.
I LOVE instagram filters for my personal cell phone pics...But what I do to the images I take for YOU - IS 👏NOT👏A👏FILTER- It's an EDIT that has taken me YEARS to perfect in a program that I went to college to learn! For every hour in a session- can be another 1-2 hours of editing...sometimes more. So think about that for a second- an 8 hour wedding could potentially take me 16 hours to edit!!!
Lighting changes, different skin tones, clothing color, movement, indoors, outdoors, shade, direct light, skin blemishes, hair flyaways, wrinkles, stains...it all makes for a different outcome that I have to make look perfected & consistent in camera and in post editing. So in other words- my job does not end at the session.
My edits are my trademark, my artistry, my uniqueness...
It would be like if your kid drew a picture and you drew over it...that's just rude! 🙅‍♀️
So please- use those filters on your personal phone pics- JUST NOT ON MY PHOTOS! 🙌

***PS: I will say this! My CLIENTS have never done this to my images (that I am aware of)- I know that my clients value my work! it tends to be friends and family who might be unaware. Which is why I made this post. 😁
