l am still on cloud 9 from yesterday!!! 3 years in a row winning Best of Bulverde, and honestly, I’m still completely blown away by all of you. I can’t thank you enough for every vote, every referral, every kind word, and most of all, for the love and support you continue to pour into my little business. It means more than you know. 💛
I don’t think my 22-year-old self, fresh out of college with a degree in Criminal Justice, would have ever believed that one day I’d have a successful photography business while staying home with my two little girls.
For a long time, I never really believed taking someone’s portrait could be a true profession. I was raised with the idea that a “real” career meant a steady paycheck and a stable company to work for. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that path, it just never really fueled something inside of me.
Photography did.
What started as a filler elective college course slowly became a business, and somehow, all these years later, it’s become something I’m incredibly proud to call my career. I get to create for a living, meet the most amazing families, document the seasons of their lives, and still be home for the little moments with my own girls. It truly feels like a dream come true.
And to the man who has been my biggest cheerleader through it all, my husband, Jake. The CFO, reflector holder, shade creator, toddler wrangler, and so much more. You’ve pushed me to grow in so many ways and took a complete leap of faith in me in 2020 when we decided it was time to go full-time… while I was 26 weeks pregnant. 😂 You believed in me before I even knew what this could become, and I’ll forever be grateful for that.
Three years in a row.
I’m just so, so thankful. For this business, for my amazing clients, for this community, and for the people who have believed in this dream right alongside me.
