Today 12/13/2025 I’ll be behind the camera for Pet Photos with Santa — a sweet, festive pop-up where your furry best friends get their moment with the big guy in red. 🎅🐾

From 10 am to 2 pm bring your pups (and brave kitties, too) for a quick, cozy holiday session with Santa in a merry set, full of warm Christmas vibes and tail-wagging energy. Whether they’re perfectly posed or hilariously chaotic, we’ll capture the kind of photos that belong on cards, gifts, and your feed all season long.

Come say hi, let’s make something joyful, and leave with a holiday memory you’ll actually want to frame. 📸✨The photo shown here was from a previous year.

Eternal Firenze

This photograph of Florence’s Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore is more than an architectural record — it’s a visual homage to grandeur, serenity, and timeless artistry. Shot from a low angle and framed symmetrically, the cathedral rises with monumental presence against a clear blue sky, its red-tiled dome glowing warmly in the soft light. The absence of crowds in the piazza creates a rare stillness, allowing the viewer to engage with the building as a sacred and eternal symbol. Every intricate marble detail is illuminated, celebrating the craftsmanship of the Renaissance while the harmonious contrast between the earthy dome and the cool sky evokes the union of human endeavor and the divine. In blending modern photographic precision with a centuries-old subject, the image becomes a conversation between past and present, inviting quiet reverence for a masterpiece that continues to inspire awe across generations.

The Fragility of Presence

(Archival pigment print)

A bowl of strawberries—common, transient, yet luminous—becomes a meditation on time.
Their ripeness is fleeting, their sweetness destined to fade, yet in this moment they exist in fullness.
The softened edges echo memory itself: clear at the center, dissolving at the margins.
The image asks us to consider presence—not as permanence, but as a gift of the now.

This is a photograph of transition—of people in-between spaces, crossing from one side of life to another. It tells the story of a metropolis in constant motion, where anonymity and intimacy coexist in the same breath. It conveys the spirit of Mexico City as both overwhelming and alive, a place where every crossing light unleashes a surge of humanity.

It’s such a sad and bleak outlook for one of the greatest camera and photography powerhouses of all time — Kodak.
I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that, back in 1975, one of their own engineers invented a digital camera… and the company buried it. Now, the outlook for this year is that Kodak could be closing its doors for good. What a loss.

My own love affair with photography started early — I bought my very first camera when I was just seven years old. It was the Rainbow Striped Polaroid OneSnap from the 1970s, and I adored it. My poor little Scottie, however, was not quite as enthusiastic, since he quickly became my main muse at the time! Haha.

What about you? What was your first camera love, and who or what was your muse?
Here’s a photo of me testing my new camera the day I bought it, and some of my early Scottie portraits — my first “model,” whether he liked it or not!
