I've always loved this image I took of the Pigeon Point Lighthouse in California, but wanted to help the lighthouse stand out more, so I tried a few more edits of adding a sun. I like the results: much more dramatic and has the feel I was really wanting.

The image is actually a composite of 8 photos that I put together in Photoshop. The original sky was replaced (because it was gray-white and totally bland). Some editing was also accomplished in Lightroom.

In the front of my house, across the street, sits a hackberry tree that is home to a very noisy, but adorable, Red-Bellied Woodpecker, and a sprite Titmouse. They have made nests in holes in this tree while being very protective and busy feeding their young.

This is my first time editing an old photo that had really lost practically all it's color and details. What a lot of work! But, worth it for my husband’s family.

Primarily used Photoshop to edit, but then took it to Remini, and wow! Thank goodness for that app: it made the world of difference in bringing in elements that had totally been lost. The app even brought in eyelashes, eyebrow hair, facial pores, wrinkles, hair strands, freckles and a bit of facial hair stubble. It's not perfect, so I still had to make some changes in Photoshop, but it saved a lot of time and headache.
