I just wanted to come on here and make a quick post, because I WILL be offering Fall minis this year!!!!

There will only be two dates to choose from and those will be the only family sessions this Fall due to my lack of time with the kids & my career. As some or most of you know, I took a leap into a new career in insurance this year. It’s been such a blessing for my family & I truly enjoy it so much!

I also love and care for all of you! So this is my gift to all my new and repeat clients. I’ll also try to throw a Xmas minis date in this November, so be on the lookout for those!

As the sun dipped low over the runway, we spent the evening chasing golden light, open skies, and the sweetest kind of love. What made this session even more meaningful was the plane beside them… a treasured gift passed down from father to son, carrying generations of memories and now becoming part of their own story.

There was something so special about watching them dream about their future together while surrounded by a piece of the groom’s past. A reminder that marriage isn’t just about two people coming together… it’s about honoring where you’ve been and building something beautiful for where you’re going.

From capturing the excitement of your gender reveal to now celebrating your very first trip around the sun, getting to document these moments for your family has been the sweetest full-circle experience.

Watching families grow and being trusted with the memories that will one day fill photo albums and be passed down for generations is something I never take lightly. The joy, the tiny details, the happy tears, the chaos, the love… it’s all worth remembering. ✨

Talk about an adventure 🏔️

There’s something sacred about witnessing love this close.

From college memories to mountain vows…getting to capture my old friend marrying her best friend felt like life coming full circle. We woke up at 4am, still wrapped in sleep and anticipation, and chased the sunrise into the mountains. Their vows echoed softly through the stillness, just the two of them and a sky waking up alongside their forever.

We hiked through snow-covered trails for bridals that felt straight out of a dream…her dress dancing in the cold, their laughter warming everything around us. Back at the cabin, we celebrated with vegan cake and the kind of joy you can’t fake. Then ended the day by the creek with a traditional tying ceremony, sealing their love in the most intentional way… followed by shots on a personalized shot ski (because balance 😌).

Unfiltered, adventurous, deeply rooted love. The kind that doesn’t need anything extra…just each other.

They fell in love with Denver and decided to make it their home after tying the knot. Wild stuff! So grateful to be a part of something so special with these two. 🖤

We slipped away just before sunset

No pressure, no poses, just the two of them and a quiet kind of love.

He picked up my film camera and started capturing her the way he sees her… effortlessly beautiful, completely his. She danced barefoot in the fading light, veil catching the wind, lost in the moment and fully herself.

It wasn’t about perfection. It wasn’t about timelines.
It was about a love that feels safe, soft, and free.

The kind of love that doesn’t judge…just holds, celebrates, and lets you be. 🤍

This one is hard to say out loud…

For the next two years, I’m taking a step back from photography.

Not because I don’t love it…because I love it so much that I refuse to let it become something that breaks me.

This economy has been heavy, and trying to keep up has felt like I’m constantly falling behind. Pair that with a neurodivergent brain that already whispers “you’re not doing enough” on repeat… and somewhere along the way, I started to feel like a failure in something that once gave me so much life.

And the truth is…my babies need me.
Not the burnt out, overwhelmed, stretched-too-thin version of me… but the present, grounded, whole version.

So I’m choosing to rebuild.
To focus on stability.
To work on myself in the ways I’ve been putting off.
To create a life where my art can come back from a place of peace instead of pressure.

This isn’t the end of my story as a photographer…it’s just a pause. A necessary one.

Art deserves a version of me that isn’t surviving… but thriving.

And I promise, when I come back to it I’ll bring even more heart with me 🤍

The day before they said “I do” at Rocky Mountain National Park felt like a story already written for them.

We started with brunch and warm coffee & then wandered straight into a snowstorm that didn’t ask for permission, just like the best kind of love. ❄️ From there, the day unfolded into quiet laughter, cold hands finding each other, and that kind of connection you don’t have to pose… it just exists.

By nightfall, they ended tucked away in a snowy cabin outside Denver, soaking in a hot tub under the winter sky…wrapping up a day that felt equal parts adventure and home.

As a photographer, days like this are everything. No pressure, no timelines…just real moments and two people who fit together so effortlessly it almost feels like magic.

They don’t just love each other… they complete each other. And getting to document that?

Absolute joy. 🤍
