Congratulations to our Safe2Save contest winner, Kristen Hood!

After Emily was killed, I faced the honest realization that I had been guilty of using my phone while driving. I did not know of the DND function of my phone until Karin started posting safety features that were so easy to use. Then I saw a TV story on the local news about Safe-To-Save, decided to download the app also. I made a conscious decision EVERY time I got in my car to open the app before leaving my driveway. And then, when I saw your challenge, I thought “why not?!” I already used the app every day, every time I drove. Using the app and other phone/driving safety features, became my way of making a difference in Emily’s name and memory. No one should suffer again like the Zaltsman family has. I’m trying to do my part...in the memory of a beautiful life, taken way too soon. ❤️
