Hi! It’s me. The one trying to raise little ones and still pursue her passions. 🙋🏻♀️
Because for me, motherhood means sacrificing necessary parts of me, not all of me.
(No momma martyr here)
In fact, I believe I’m able to be a better momma to my wild baby boys when I continue to nurture who I am along with my talents, my dreams and my goals.
Now, the time doesn’t come easily with a hubs who works a lot and no family nearby.
I often feel frustrated and defeated by having to fight so hard for an hour here and 20 minutes there. And having to leave so many ideas on the drawing board. I mean I’m not trying to build an empire, just attempting to feed my creative soul with a morsel here and morsel there.
But I remind myself:
This is a season.
One day I’ll be cashing in tiny toes and baby squeals for hours to myself. A day I wish for and also wish away.
(Oof just made myself cry 😭)
So I guess I just wanted to encourage myself while also encouraging you, fellow mommas. We are worthy of fostering our talents and dreams, no matter how little or much time we’re able to devote to it. Because caring for ourselves and caring for our babies are one and the same.
**And thank you dear photography clients for choosing this momma. Even when the communication isn’t always timely and scheduling a session can take a few tries.
You are helping me feed my creative soul and I’m forever grateful.
