Our growth cannot be measured by what is seen, alone.
Change is felt like a sonic ripple through our energetic field.
It’s in the disruption of our complacent norm, the small almost invisible changes…
Our moment to moment decisions that reflect our realigned priorities—choosing different, making adjustments based on the data we gathered by our previous shortcomings or unpleasant interactions.
Change is inevitable.
But growth?
Growth is a choice.
It’s an active pulsing thing that sees the current paradigm and says, “no, I want more.” Or, “no, I can be better, do better, make more of an impact.”
We may pull in and expand along the way, but never shrink.
Like clothes we’ve outgrown, our old ways won’t fit anymore.
Forward.
Ever forward.
This is where I find myself, always.
I live in this transient space.
Which also makes me a visitor at any given time, wherever I am.
In that impermanence, my worth is amplified.
What and who I give my time to matters, and it matters that I have chosen to give of my time.
Access shifts the more I grow; it’s inevitable.
This is knowledge one only gains in the doing.
In having experienced the cost of failings and risen above tragedies both seen and unseen.
Maturity isn’t necessarily just “having your s**t together.”
It’s the keen discernment that comes from all of these lessons—it’s truly knowing one’s self and not allowing others to tread upon that.
May I carry this understanding as my growth continues.
