Instead of asking for a “reasonably priced” professional service, consider providing a range that you are willing to pay for the service.

This allows service providers to offer something in your price range and ultimately solve your problem.

Remember, what you consider “reasonable” and what is actually reasonable for the industry, aren’t always the same thing.

It was great getting to speak with reps from one of my favorite rum brands from my home country. Learning about the history of Brugal and their distilling process has given me an even deeper appreciation for the rum that sparked my love for cocktails and the liquor/bar industry.

The highlight of 2023 was watching these two close friends of mine finally tie the knot. Congratulations again you two and thank you for giving me the honor of capturing these moments for you.

I finally found some time to get in front of the camera for once.

My first time doing a self portrait went pretty well if I do say so myself.

It’s been an extremely busy holiday season, but one of the highlights was this amazing wedding I shot a couple weeks ago. It was a beautiful ceremony and I’m so happy to be adding these to my portfolio.

While everyone was watching the eclipse last weekend, I was watching the cars.

I almost forgot how good photos can look in landscape.

Lately I haven’t been too concerned with social media or posting and I think it’s helped me enjoy my photography substantially. I haven’t been worried about “How will this look on Instagram?” Instead I’ve focused on taking the best looking shot in the moment and forget about the rest. Do I have a ton of followers? No. But man am I enjoying what I do. 📸

This Sunday I had the pleasure of visiting one of the best wineries in the Texas Wine Belt for the Fall Wine Release.

My wife and I stumbled across this winery around this time last year and after one visit we became members of the wine club due to their excellent wines, beautiful scenery and amazing atmosphere. Named after a coastal village in Eastern Cuba and the song written by Ernesto Lecuona, the staff really embodies the meaning of the song in which Ernesto sang about missing his home in Cuba. Every time we visit this winery, I feel like I’m visiting a long lost family and we’re having a giant reunion.

Between the great wine, atmosphere, and cultural food, Siboney is the little slice of Latin America with Texas charm that the hill country needed.
