Hi, friends. It’s been a minute.

The last time I stepped away for this long, it was because I was having a baby. I promise that’s not the case this time, but it was because of a major life change for our family.

Earlier this summer, our family relocated to San Antonio, TX. There are so many emotions tied up in that move, but I’m thankful to say that nearly four months in we’re solidly out of “survive mode” and moving into “thrive mode.” If you know anyone in the San Antonio area looking for pictures, send them my way!

That said, I am absolutely still taking sessions in OKC. In fact, I have availability exclusively for OKC Clients the weekend of 11/18-11/19. This is before Thanksgiving, and I would have your images to you in time to order Christmas cards! If you’re interested in booking a session, shoot me a message and we’ll get you squared away.

Sorry for hiding for the last few months, but now that life has re-settled, you’ll be seeing a lot more of me again!

Happy Mother’s Day to my mama. Most of my passions I can attribute back to her. She makes the simplest celebrations magical. She loves being a Mimi to her grandkids. There are many days (most days) that I wonder how she did it all with four of us. I am eternally grateful for all I have learned about motherhood from her and strive every day to apply those lessons with my own family. I love you, Momma. 🤍

So excited for this sweet family to add a little one next month!

When Morgan arrived to her shoot, she showed me her hat and said, “I brought this. I’ve seen other girls wear them, maybe it could be cute?” And let me tell you friends - the answer is always yes. Bring your floppy hats, they are always cute!!

Now that I’m all done with my own babies, it makes maternity shoots that much sweeter. The weather was perfect the day of their shoot and we all had so much fun.

We’ve been doin the dang thing for nine years now. These sweet little angel babies had no freaking clue what they were signing up for all those years ago, but I’m so glad they did.

Truthfully, we’re nowhere near the same people we were when we got married, but we’re more ourselves than we’ve ever been. Thank you for loving every version of me you’ve met so far, and all the version yet to come.

You’re my best friend and favorite person. The life we’ve built together isn’t perfect but it is so beautiful and real. I’d choose you over and over again, forever.

One of my ABSOLUTE favorite things is seeing how clients' little ones grow from year to year. It is even sweeter when their family has grown, too. There is something so special about this family and I loved spending time with them. The way they love each other is so evident and it just sets you at ease to be around them!

I still have a few dates available for this fall. We're about a month out from prime fall foliage - it's perfect timing!

Not sure if you guys have ever been around two-year-olds, but sometimes (only sometimes 😉) they’re not super into having pictures taken. And that’s totally fine, I’m here to roll with the punches.

Especially because when you follow their lead, you end up with a shot of sister, and brother’s hand reaching to push the button on my camera provides the perfect dreamy blur to bring all our attention to that sweet face.

Nervous about how your kids will act during pictures? Don’t be. I’m not! When you let go of control, that’s when the magic happens. ✨

It’s the baby in overalls for me. 😍 I always love the way babies cling to their mamas, but it’s even more special when that mama is your best friend of 10 years. Couldn’t love these two more.
