Not my best video for Fall, 2026 but it’s MY FAVORITE!

This small black stallion, who is very thin, came out of nowhere. I named him HALF PINT and he had the s***k of the biggest stallion in that herd. HALF PINT took on several stallions that afternoon,size didn’t matter. He then disappeared as quickly as he appeared. I sure hope he makes it through the winter and that I have a chance to meet him again, my Half Pint was an inspiration to me to keep going. I really I wish that I knew more about him. Good luck, my little friend.🙏

What fun!

Tomahawk and the elder Zipper (who sustained a terrible injury to his hind quarters back in 2021) just having a little play sparring going on. Zipper has always been a favorite of mine and many others. He has difficulty walking but still has the spirit of wild in him!

BETTER KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR MARES!

Boreal (gray) was definitely showing interest in one of Splash’s young mare’s, Juniper.
Garth was also interested in Juniper until Splaash put a stop to it and quickly brought Juniper to the safety of his band.

Out of the four McCullough Peaks wild horses in this video, only one remains free, Splaash. All round ups are heartbreaking, but this particular round up broke our hearts. I want to thank those that gave each one of the McCullough Peaks horses a good home, you’re appreciated more than I can say.

That’s me hollering to get another photographer’s attention so he didn’t miss the action. Stay alert when on the range. Lol

GREAT FOOTWORK!

I love the footwork of this roan in the foreground. He’s a stallion with confidence, unlike the gray at the end of the video. Maybe he’s just tired!What do you think?

WHY IS IT ALWAYS A ROAN AND A GRAY??

The roan came into the watering hole looking for trouble and he found it . You can’t imagine how humongous these stallions are until they’re up on their hind legs on a hill and you are filming down below.
