I really enjoyed meeting the Merrill family last week. They welcomed their first baby, Mazlyn. What a fun name! Such a sweet couple with amazing personality. Thank you Merrills for letting me in on your special day!

This was one of my favorite shoots, because Erin is one of my friends! And it was even more special, because her older girls got to watch their baby sister come into the world! After an amazing ONE push, Sophie was out! The family spent some precious moments with new baby Sophie, before Erin found out she was hemorrhaging. An hour-and-a-half later, the doctors thought they finally had it under control, and Erin was able to hold her baby again. Such a scary moment, but she handled it like a champ! I was impressed! I'm so happy to have been able to capture such precious and intimate moments!

This couple recently welcomed their 4th baby, Sophie! It's crazy how sometimes things can go from completely perfect, to a little bit scary so quickly! I'll share a few more from their emotional journey, so be sure to check back!
