Paria Canyon is such a beautiful backpacking trip. 38 miles of ever changing and evolving terrain that keeps you wondering what's next. It was easily worth the 105* Temps and sand everywhere.

Earlier this year I started the weekly photo challenges but dropped off with COVID as I felt my creativity drain. Lately though, life has been feeling a bit more normal ("new normal") and I feel the urge to be creative again. So I'm working through the backlog of missed challenges.
This picture is from Week 3: Wabi-Sabi. Wabi-Sabi is the Japanese concept of finding beauty in imperfections as these imperfections show a life well lived. For this challenge skateboard fit that bill perfectly. A skateboard should have scars if it's been used, and his has plenty.
