It’s no secret I’ve been a little MIA over here. As many of you know, and for those that don’t, I have been on a journey over the last year of my life, pursuing the world of Spelling to Communicate, and working every day to give my son the best possible chance at finding his “voice”. We went from not knowing if Micah knew his ABC’s, to discovering he knew full words in just a short amount of time. We are still on this journey and working hard to help him find his voice through S2C. I have also pursued becoming a Spelling to Communicate Practitioner, and I have had the absolute honor to get to work with so many other non-speakers as they begin their journeys. My focus has very much been on this new pursuit, and while I am still doing photography, my schedule for Photography has become drastically limited, as I make space for these non speakers, time with my family, and the Lord. You’re still going to see some of me on here, it’s just gonna look a little more limited, and a little different from time to time 🥰 if you’d like to follow along, my personal page is linked in my bio.

It’s been a whirlwind of a year, so many changes taking place over here, and so many life changing memories I have gotten to experience. Part of my year was spending so much time with laughing, problem solving together, thinking through all of the creative ideas and dancing many nights away, wedding after wedding, and I wouldn’t trade these times for anything. Find yourself a community of support, and encouragement, but most of all, find the people that make work feel like the best job in the world. I’m just now catching up on SO many posts from this year, I’ve never been this behind before, so prepare your feeds and sorry advance for the post spam coming your way 😘
