Well... it's officially time 🤍

As of this week, I’m officially on maternity leave until August 22, 2026 as we prepare to welcome our sweet baby girl into the world.

And honestly? My heart is so full.

Motherhood has always been the greatest blessing and most important calling in my life. It’s the very thing that shaped the heart behind this business in the first place. Because becoming a mother taught me just how quickly life moves… and how deeply we ache to hold onto the people and moments we love most.

That’s why documenting milestones matters so much to me — not just as a photographer, but as a mama living through these fleeting seasons right alongside you.

This pregnancy has reminded me of that all over again.

I also just want to say thank you. Truly. To every family, couple, senior, bride, and mama who trusted me with their memories this year — even while I’ve been growing a baby behind the scenes. Your kindness, patience, encouragement, and support have meant more than I can say.

While I’ll be stepping away from sessions for a little while to soak in these newborn days with my family, I am still actively booking weddings and portrait sessions taking place AFTER August 22, 2026.

So if you’re planning a future session, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I’ll still be responding to emails and DMs during my leave — maybe just a little slower than usual as I settle into this new season 🤍

Thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting this dream of mine. And thank you for allowing me to preserve your stories while I live out one of the most meaningful stories of my own.

See you in August, friends ✨

Cherry blossom photos have quietly become a tradition in our home.

Each spring, I take my kids to the Utah State Capitol to capture this season… because it always reminds me how quickly things change. One year to the next, my children are different. Taller. Older. Becoming. Blossoming. Just like the cherry trees.

And I feel it every time.

I may be a photographer… but I’m a mama first. And my mama heart is always trying to hold onto the version of my children that exists right now—before it shifts into something new.

These little outings are my way of doing that.

Are they a little chaotic? Always.
But somewhere in the middle of it, there’s almost always something beautiful waiting to be seen.

And that’s the thing I keep coming back to…

You don’t need perfect conditions to preserve your life. You just need the willingness to notice it while it’s here.

So if you’re a mama like me—or just someone starting to feel how quickly life moves—this is your gentle nudge:

Take the photos.

Do it yourself.
Hire someone if you can.
But don’t wait for everything to feel “just right.”

Because you won’t regret the photos you took… only the ones you didn’t.

There is beauty here. Even in the chaos. Even in this season.

Whatever that looks like for you.

Happy Spring, friends 🤍

Let’s slow down just enough to remember… this moment we’re living in right now is a gift... that's why it's called "the present."

I’ve known her mom for years.

We spent a decade teaching in the same school — sharing classrooms, long days, and conversations about life and motherhood in between. And in all those years, one thing was always clear: she is a mama bear in the truest sense. Fiercely loving. Deeply devoted. The kind of mother who would do absolutely anything for her children.

So photographing her daughter as she prepares to leave for a mission in Bristol, England felt especially sacred.

This isn’t just a milestone.

It’s the fruit of years of faithful, intentional motherhood. Of prayers whispered. Of love poured out daily. Of a young woman choosing to step forward in her own conviction and serve her faith, sharing the message of Jesus Christ with people she hasn’t even met yet.

You could feel it during this session — the pride in her mom’s eyes, the tenderness in the quiet moments, the weight and beauty of what’s ahead.

There’s something holy about a season like this.

About packing suitcases filled not just with clothes, but with courage. About a family releasing their daughter into something bigger than themselves.

These are the kinds of moments that deserve to be preserved.

Because years from now, when she looks back at these images, I hope she sees more than portraits. I hope she sees the faith that shaped her, the love that sent her, and the strength she carried with her across the ocean.

If your family is stepping into a season of change — a mission, a graduation, a brave new beginning — I would be honored to help you remember it.

Because even the sacred goodbyes are part of your story. 🤍

There are some seasons in life that feel especially sacred… and this is one of them.

Our family is growing. 🤍

We are overjoyed to be welcoming a sweet new baby girl, due June 18, 2026. Becoming a mama again is the greatest gift I’ve ever been given. It is my highest calling, my deepest joy, and the role that shapes every part of who I am — including the way I show up behind the camera.

Motherhood has always grounded me in what matters most. It has slowed me down in the best ways. It has made me notice the little things — the tiny kicks, the sleepy snuggles, the way time somehow moves both slowly and all at once.

And it’s the very reason I care so deeply about preserving your memories.

Because I know firsthand how quickly these seasons pass. I know how the ordinary moments become the ones you ache to hold onto. I know that life is never perfectly timed or perfectly polished — and that’s exactly why it’s worth remembering.

As we prepare to welcome this little one, I will not be taking on new sessions starting May 10, 2026 so I can intentionally prepare for Baby and soak in those final weeks as a family of four. I plan to return in August 2026, refreshed and ready to step back behind the camera.

During this season, I may move a little slower at times. Response times might stretch just a bit. But please know this: I am still here. And I am still fully committed to serving you well.

In fact, motherhood only deepens my “why.”

It reminds me that this work isn’t just about beautiful images — it’s about preserving legacy. It’s about freezing the in-between moments you’ll one day wish you could step back into.

So while my heart expands at home, it expands here too.

Thank you for celebrating this new chapter with us. I can’t wait to continue documenting your love stories, your growing families, and your milestones — all while living one of my own.

Because just like you, I’m in a season worth remembering too. 🤍

✨ 2025, you were good to me. ✨

This year, I had the honor of photographing 31 sessions—31 families, couples, seniors, mamas, milestones, and moments that mattered deeply to the people living them. And I don’t take a single one for granted.

I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the trust you placed in me, the stories you invited me into, and the love and support that carried this business through its first year of growth. Every session reminded me why this work matters: because time doesn’t slow down, and these seasons deserve to be remembered with care and intention.

As I look ahead to a new year, my heart is full of excitement—for meeting new faces, serving familiar ones again, continuing to learn, grow, and show up better than before.

Thank you for allowing me to press pause on your lives, even just for a moment. Here’s to more connection, more stories, and more memories worth holding onto in the year ahead. 💛
