Amy Jo Payne and I go way back. We met working as auditors at Tanner LLC, back in our pre-kids life! So getting to photograph her gorgeous family — and now her extended family too (more on that coming soon 👀) — is such an honor.

Can you believe these were all taken during the same bridal session? One spring snowstorm gave us the dreamiest mix of blooming trees, fresh flowers, golden light, and snow-covered grounds all in one evening. Even though it was freezing, Cristine embraced every moment and the results turned out absolutely magical.

Bridal sessions are truly some of my favorite sessions to photograph because they give couples a chance to slow down, be present together, and create beautiful portraits without the timeline pressure of the wedding day.

For future brides wondering if a bridal session is worth it, here are a few reasons why I always recommend them:
• You get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day
• It gives us time to create intentional, romantic portraits without rushing
• You can test your hair, makeup, bouquet, and dress beforehand
• Wedding day portraits become quicker and less stressful
• And most importantly, you get even more beautiful memories together during such a special season of life

These images feel like spring and winter collided in the most beautiful way, and I’m still not over them ✨
