This project is unlike any I have ever done before, and the title of the series was inspired by a quote from Mark Van Doren about education. The office of an educator (in this case, I'm working with professors) is a space in which infinite possibility resides. In this space, students seek out wisdom beyond the classroom. It is an organic experience to each professor, each student, each meeting as a whole. I wanted to capture the potential that exists from the first step over the threshold.

These photos are unposed, captured with the intent to convey the unique properties of each person and each space they work within. I have shot them in black and white to keep them timeless.
