If I told 10-year-old me I'd end up running three businesses at once, I don't think she'd believe me. 😂

If I told her one of them was a camper that makes people laugh and sends them home with a stack of photos they'll keep for years, she'd be excited to pop in.

I didn't plan any of this. I just kept saying yes to the next thing that felt right.

Turns out 10-year-old me had better instincts about joy than I gave her credit for.

Halloween might be my favorite kind of event to participate in.

Nobody needs props when everyone's already dressed as something ridiculous. Last Halloween, we skipped the prop box entirely. The costumes did all the work.

If you're planning something spooky, keep us in mind. This is the one holiday where our job gets easier.

The question we hear at almost every venue walkthrough: "Wait, doesn't this need to be outside?"

Nope. It's an enclosed camper, not a tent. No lighting to fuss with, no backdrop to hang, no weather to track. We find whatever tight corner the venue gives us, plug it in, and we're set.

Honestly, we've wedged it through doorways nobody thought would work.

So if you've been picturing it parked out in a field somewhere, you're not wrong, but we can do it indoors too!

The best fit for the camper isn't really about the kind of event. It's about two things.

Logistics first. We need an indoor space we can actually get this thing into… that includes a doorway or hallway wide enough and a spot it can sit in for a few hours without blocking anything. That said, give us room and we'll find a way to fit it.

Energy second, and honestly, this one matters more. We love events where people actually want to play. Pile three people into a frame built for two, grab a prop, laugh about it later. If your group will get into that, we're a great match.

Most people think the first thing that matters is finding the prettiest corner of the room. One with good light, a backdrop, essentially somewhere that photographs well.

But really, none of that matters for us since we’re not using the room's light or a backdrop.

Everything happens inside the camper.

What actually comes first is space. Can I get this thing through the door, down the hall, and parked somewhere it can sit for a few hours without blocking an exit?

So before you go picturing the perfect spot, send me a photo of the doorway instead. That'll be the first thing we have to figure out!

The question I get asked the most: how far do you actually travel for this thing?

Pretty much anywhere in Utah. If there's a venue and a plug, we'll figure out how to get the camper there.

What I'm working on today: sorting through prop bins and figuring out what's getting packed for the next couple of months of events.

Funny glasses and hats in one pile… the stuff that's falling apart in the other.

All this was fueled by a good chai latte made by moi.

My fall mantra this year: I'm allowed to have seasons.

I didn't expect this season to look like this.

I know my kids are still little, but they need me in ways I didn't plan for, not less of me, just different. More patience in the mornings. More presence in the afternoons. Less of me sitting down to work when I thought I'd have an hour.

So I'm showing up differently than I expected to. Not worse. Different.

I'm allowed to have seasons. This is just the one I'm in right now.

The crazy thing people don't know about buying this camper: we renovated the whole thing while carrying a ten-month-old around at the same time.

Renovating anything with a baby strapped to one hip is its own kind of chaos. Tools in one hand, a diaper bag in the other, and somehow also installing an AC.

Looking back, buying a project camper with an infant in the house was not the responsible choice. We did it anyway. And we’ve had a ton of fun!

Most couples don't have a problem with capturing memories; they have a format problem.

Your guests might take hundreds of photos on their phones. You might end up with a camera roll full of moments from the day.
