My 90 page printed 2021 Elopement Guides arrived today with these beauties gracing the cover. As I grow in this craft I’m learning that stories present themselves in different forms; in emotion, experiences, in nature ... this was an exploration of storytelling through fashion.

I am endlessly inspired by this set and the way it showed me a new perspective. + thank you for your vision 🤍

2 months ago we travelled to Utah and scouted Capitol Reef National Park for an upcoming elopement, that I finally photographed at sunrise this morning. I’m sitting in my hotel tonight exhausted in the best way possible after the perfection of today and reminiscing on this trip that went into planning it. We hiked + explored, taking note of the landscape, lighting, and local activities. Our daily ritual while we visited was stopping at the historic Gifford House for cinnamon rolls and homemade pies, made from the fruit of the orchards that grow throughout the park ——— I experimented a lot with film on this trip, just for fun and a sense of nostalgia. This has been a project spanning YEARS and I’m so damn happy to have these done. These guides are between 40-100 pages long for Weddings, Elopements, Couples, Families, Portraits, Seniors, and my new launch for the In-Home Studio —— Bo***ir. Not to mention, if you are traveling to Glacier National Park for your wedding or session with me I have extensive guides to locations, Airbnb’s, and local activities + restaurants, to help you plan your visit.

Creating a meaningful experience requires thoughtful intention and communication. These guides were written with the intent of encouraging my clients to be true to themselves, to be present with each other during our time together, to provide inspiration + creative ideas, and finally recommendations for locations, clothing, and vendors.

One of my biggest parenting regrets is not having photos with my babies in the home we lived in when we first brought them home from the hospital. The place where we first became a family.

I’ll never get over this weekend in Wyoming with and her lil family. We spent time in baby Mad’s nursery doing everyday things, like snuggles, reading books, pit parties with his pup siblings Lila + Jax (obsessed w/ them, ily Cass but I’ll come back to wyoming just to play with them 😍😍), and then of course a walk around the neighborhood. It’s funny how ordinary some of these things seem until your babies are grown. I know that even though they’re such simple moments, they are the most impactful and ones to be documented.
