A few things I've learned since embarking on this photographic journey 5 years ago...
-Start your day with exercise, faith and a kiss
-Love of gear will be replaced with a love for creation
-If you're scared to try it, then try it
-There are no short cuts to truly outstanding work
-Write a client dream list and post it somewhere
-Have fun!
-Find out 'why' you shoot
-Raw, authentic, genuine momen
ts AND dramatic, edgy, well thought out composites
-People are more important than things
-If you're completely satisfied with your work, it's time for a new job
-People perform to deadlines. Give yourself a deadline
-Remember where you started and finish what you start
-Shoot what you love. No really, shoot what you love! Create images that speak to your soul
-Video will never replace great photography
-Always have a personal project
Random facts about me...
-Shaved legs in the Summer, prickly in the Winter
-Eat fresh
-Carry a pilot's license
-Study shots and direction in Pixar films for inspiration
-Entrepreneur
-Fatherhood is more rewarding than anything I've ever done.
